His beautiful rendering of &Purabi Kalyan,& a combined raga, expresses with restraint the peaceful and devout mood of this twilight raga through an original melody. Another combined raga, &Zila-Kafi,& is next, played with liberal development of the romantic mood. The concluding South Indian raga, &Kirwani,& begins in a mood of devotion and develops into a fast Jhala.
