Baby Fox's alluring amalgam of dance styles only sounds more alluring on their second album, Dum Dum Baby. The group has grown more eclectic, picking up traces of trip-hop and electronica that enliven their jazzy, acid house dance. They still have trouble coming up with a consistent set of material, but there's a number of highlights here that illustrate that the group has learned how to write catchy pop hooks. Dum Dum Baby may have a couple of missteps, but it nevertheless finds Baby Fox coming into their own.
