By the end of the '90s, Ferry Corsten had become one of trance's biggest superstars thanks to his productions as System F and Moonman, but he hadn't quite crossed over in North America until his affiliation with Moonshine. Corsten's first DJ mix for the California-based label, Global Trancemissions, gave him the exposure he needed, placing him into the upper echelon of trance DJs within the minds of mainstream Americans.
