Sounding like virtually none of his contemporaries (except perhaps Future Sound of London ), Jack Dangers puts industrial textures to work as a mask for intense vocal samples and breakbeat rhythms plus the occasional organic instrument like guitar and even clarinet. Though Subliminal Sandwich sprawls a bit over the course of its two discs (much like FSOL's Lifeforms ), it only rarely fails to excite.
