Apart from the hit &So Close,& Hall & Oates' Change of Season is largely undistinguished, relying more on sound than songcraft. Not surprisingly, it was Hall & Oates' lowest-charting album of original material since 1974's War Babies, even if it did go gold. [Change of Season was reissued in 2002 with a bonus track.]
