Originally recorded for the Dutch Polydor label and then leased domestically by the now defunct Inner City company, this fine session allowed Toots Thielemans to become free of the commercial studios and jam with an obscure but talented European rhythm section. Thielemans, who mostly plays harmonica on the sextet date with guitarist Joop Scholten and keyboardist Rob Franken, has fun jamming on six of his originals (including his famous &Bluesette&) plus a couple of movie themes, European tunes and &There Is No Greater Love.& An excellent effort that would be followed by two other Live albums with a similar group.
