"Call Me When You're Sober" is a song by American rock band Evanescence. It was released on September 25, 2006 as the first single from their second studio album, The Open Door. It was written by Amy Lee and Terry Balsamo, and is about Lee's ex-boyfriend Shaun Morgan, also known as the lead vocalist of Seether. Lee's sisters, Carrie and Lori, perform backing vocals during the line, "I've made up your mind."[3] It has become the band's second most successful single, peaking at #10 on the Billboard Hot 100, #4 on the Alternative Songs chart, and within the top 20 of several more charts internationally.
