What 3 Mustaphas 3 did for what might be called Eastern European trad-rock, the New Orleans Klezmer Allstars do for klezmer. With tongue firmly in cheek (but hand soundly on heart), the Allstars create a unique, funky brand of traditional Yiddish music. &A Viennese Freilach& is lively yet languid, but they pull out all the stops on &The Wedding Suite& (which features the interlude &Transition to Buffet&).
