'Peripheral Minimal is proud to present it's initial release by San Francisco based synthwave act, 'Replicanti', entitled, 'Electric Mistress'. Presented as a 4-track tape, with sleeve designed by Plastica. Replicanti (Italian for 'Replicant', a knowing nod to cult sci-fi classic, 'Blade Runner'), takes the Minimal Synth template and adds a flourish of early Nitzer Ebb and Black Celebration era Depeche Mode. There are also echoes of early French Coldwave protagonists, 'KaS Product', and the darkly gothic overtones of Joy Division.'
