Tim "Love" Lee continues his charmed-life image and singles-bar attitude on It's All Good, the first in a series of mixes that Keep Diggin' Records has handed over to various electronica and techno producers and DJs. Lee has a keen sense of humor and an excellent ear for what can blend, and he utilizes his talents well on the tracks here. Soulful grooves and sensual beats suddenly shift into Old West piano tracks and Bollywood theme songs without a hitch, often giving the music a brassy, showbiz feel. Displaying far more personality than most dance mixes, It's All Good manages to genre-hop quite successfully, and the results lead to several awesome transitions that spit in the face of traditional club sets. Bursting out of the speakers with a sexy swagger, the music rarely shares more than a similar attitude, and that's fine when that attitude is so finely pinpointed that just about anything can be made danceable. It's not for all tastes, but for those looking for a mix with a little bravado and gusto, Lee's skills can keep booties shaking in surprisingly versatile ways.
