For Ambience Dub, Vol. 2, the Divination lineup is Bill Laswell, Jah Wobble, Mick Harris, and Jeff Bova. This CD is definitely more on the ambient side of e-music. The deep atmospheres are full of gray washes and dark experiments. The quartet is walking along the cutting edge. There are no hidden agendas. This is dark minimalism with demonic textures and satanic timbres. Laswell conceived of and constructed this unearthly soundscape. It is ambience as only he can do it. It will appeal to fans of Klaus Wiese, Lustmord, Laszlo Hortobagyi, and Isomorph.
