With remixes and edits for Rihanna, Ed Sheeran, Ellie Goulding, Syn Cole, Passenger, the xx, and Dolly Parton, Kygo has built an amazing cache of deep house and chill out renditions of a variety of music. The twenty-two year old Norwegian remixer has returned with a scooper duper new piece that was premiered on BBC Radio 1 by Pete Tong. If you’re a fan of Kygo, then today’s your lucky day.
Another remix added to the long line of remixes of Coldplay‘s lead single “Midnight”, Kygo joins the likes of Tiësto, Giorgio Moroder, and Urban Contact in taking on a challenge of making a dance track out of alternative rock. Now Kygo applies his personal treatment to the Ghost Stories single. While the vocals stay intact, Kygo adds reverbed piano and light percussion on this ambient electronic piece. The result; a beautiful progression of deep house that fans will have on repeat for days. Stay tuned for a release date soon.
