The ultra-promising Scottish duo of Breame and Jack Vath have cooked up a serene and beautifully picturesque progressive journey for our next release at Shores in the form of 'Imogen'.

Chris and Jack's original blends soft, warm chords and synth washes with 80's-style lead lines and a gently shuffling progressive groove. A catchy main theme is played on authentic clean piano and Spanish guitar sounds during the tranquil break which also features deep and enigmatic ambience for extra sonic detail. The climax features open, driving, full chords in a rhythmic, syncopated style for an uplifting hands in the air moment enhanced by cool, well-designed bleeps and extra splashy percussion. Alex Wright and Valiant take the original melodic structure along a beachier, sandier route with organic congas, woodsticks, and shakers to form a solid groove. The main guitar melody is stripped away and replaced with a classy, sophisticated alternative interpretation to make for a pleasant alternative. Texan Will Canas begins his mix with a nostalgic, tingling piano reprisal of the original's chords and filters up some slinky, 909-based drums to make way for a funky, groovy main section. The breakdown is washed with tropical, natural atmospherics and introduces a breezy, chirpy, stereo-dancing arpeggio sequence to complete the arrangement which shows off Will's unique sense of creativity. Slovakian talents Mark and Lukas make a welcome return to round off the package, using interesting percussion sounds to create a floaty rhythm with bouncy chord variations and quirky, pitched vocal sounds to give their mix a special air and charm.
