Calm down – there's nothing wrong with your computer. Kevin Martin, aka the Bug, is behind the "Soundbug" player above, which contains snippets from two new Bug tracks: "Save Me" featuring Gonjasufi and "Fuck a Bitch" featuring Death Grips. Both are from his forthcoming album Angels and Devils, which will be released on August 25 in the UK and a day later in the U.S. via Ninja Tune.
The producer's latest album follows 2008's London Zoo, and as with its predecessor, it's got plenty of special guests. Check out the tracklist below.
According to a press release, the album is split into two halves, "Angels" and "Devils". A psychedelic, "dubbed out" portion comprises the album's first half, while the "Devils" part tends towards the clattering and dissonant. As previously reported, besides Death Grips and Gonjasufi, the album's twelve tracks include collaborations with Liz Harris (aka Grouper), Godflesh/Jesu's Justin Broadrick, Hype Williams' Inga Copeland, Flowdan, Miss Red, Roll Deep's Manga, and Warrior Queen. Last year, the Bug released the Filthy EP.
The Bug has also taken to his site At War With Time to share a complex, cosmically-concerned poem/rant.
