The title tune was a nice change of pace, part mocking and part confrontational. Otherwise, it was a standard Taylor record on Malaco -- lots of fine, earnest gospel/soul singing with blues underpinnings, expert production and arrangements, and one or two songs that might have become staples in the '60s or '70s. But you can't help feeling that time has passed many of the Malaco (and Ichiban) artists by.
