Another addition to Motorhead's already burgeoning live-album discography, King Biscuit Flower Hour preserves a show the group recorded for the syndicated radio program on August 10, 1983, in Queens, N.Y. Original guitarist "Fast" Eddie Clarke had already departed, and former Thin Lizzy member Brian Robertson had taken his place for the Another Perfect Day album, which the band was supporting here. Despite Robertson's greater technical skill, this wasn't the most inspired time of Motorhead's career (both in terms of material and performance), and since the fidelity isn't quite as good here as on many other King Biscuit albums, only more devoted fans need apply.
