Follow-up to debut album "Expeditions". "Doomtowns features 5 songs the band wrote during a four year period, which included a long hiatus and change of band members. The theme of this album is inspired by nuclear testing conducted by the US and Soviet forces during 1945 until the early 90s where over 2000 nuclear devices were detonated in various parts of our planet. The vast majority of US made tests happened at the Nevada Proving Grounds where among other things fake towns were built and then blasted with bombs to study the effects. The full extent of the damage done to humans, fauna and flora by atmospheric, underground and ground testing is still unknown.
