With Big Badass, Ant Banks turns in another album of his standard-issue gangsta rap. By this time, Ant Banks has very little new to offer -- not only does the music sound tired, but he no longer has unique perspective; he has already said everything he has to say. There are a couple of tracks that would keep the interest of his dedicated fans, but most of the album is too repetitive to warrant anything more than a cursory listen from most hip-hop afficianados.
