This album does indeed speak to the heart in a way that is truly feeling rather that merely sentimental. Aeoliah's synthesizers create soft expansive washes of sound that are highlighted by some very heartfelt piano playing and, on one track, by Eric Berglund's harp. This is a warm tender album that manages to avoid the trap of excessive sweetness while still working its magic.
