On this release, Love Spirals find a good balance between a more acoustic sound and modern electronica. Radiant synth washes, rippling electric guitar, and dance grooves underlie certain tracks, but folksier tunes surface throughout the record, with acoustic guitar processing less upfront than in the past. Another noticeable element is the diverse vocal display by Perry, who sings and coos dreamily through the album.
