Produced by Barry White, He's All I've Got is one of the trio's most consistent albums. The urgent, telegraphing, guitar-laced sound of the LP's sole charting single, &I Did It for Love,& is a stylistic nod to &You Keep Me Hangin' On.& Even more of White's Motown influences come to the forefront on the lively &He's Mine (No You Can't Have Him,& which recalls the Supremes with its steady '60s pop marching beat. The He's All I've Got LP is a perfect companion to the group's excellent In Heat album. Two of its tracks, the heart-tugging, string-covered slow jam &I Guess I'm Just Another Girl in Love& and the cooing ballad &He's All I've Got,& are on 1997's Best of Love Unlimited.
