The Fires of Ork 2 is the second CD in this series from Pete Namlook and Geir Jenssen. While this is a good to very good disc, it does not quite measure up to what listeners would expect from these e-music legends. Jenssen's Substrata (as Biosphere) is a legendary album. Namlook has recorded some of the best space music ever. In 2000 and 2001, he released his strongest solo work. The expectation for this collaboration is much higher. This is a good disc, but it is not essential.
