Damage Dealt/Damage Taken is like two sides of a coin. One can’t be without the other, yet they exist all on their own not knowing the other is there. Damage Dealt has absorbed the influence of shoegaze, noise, IDM, and techno and fuses them into 3 tracks that seamlessly flow from one to the other, never missing a beat. From the abstract to a 4-to-the-floor, you’ll be dealt a hypnotizing hand from start to finish. Give yourself a breather by flipping the tape over to Damage Taken, which is a much bass-heavier affair. The swirling synths will float around your head, taking you to new heights. In a daze, the ceaseless rhythms surrounded by childlike melodies may make you tap your foot or, dare one even say, dance around uncontrollably.
